Listed villages and beautiful towns to visit

Rocamadour and the Padirac chasm

Medieval town, a village with a worldwide reputation. Very lively with its stores and restaurants. It remains a place of pilgrimage

Saint Cicq Lapopie

A medieval village perched above the river Lot, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, with its small craft stores and restaurants.

If you're feeling brave, you can climb the Lapopie rock for a magnificent panorama of the Lot and the whole valley.

And if you're even braver, don't miss the towpath carved into the cliff. Leave your car in Bouziés (parking lot) and take the path to the village of Saint Cirq Lapopie (2h-2h30 return). The path is very easy, but be careful when you get to the village: the climb is tough, but you're here to take your time!

And when you arrive, you can refresh yourself by tasting the ewe's milk ice-cream. Delicious!

Cahors and its Valentré bridge

Cahors, with its Roman Catholic Cathedral of Saint-Etienne, is a great place to visit. A very pleasant town steeped in history to visit, as well as its medieval bridge, the Pont Valentré.

If you like to stroll, don't miss the big market on Saturday mornings, an important showcase of Salard gastronomy

A village classified as the most beautiful in France, perched between the Dordogne river and its cliff.

You can also visit its fort, via a staircase on the cliffside, and discover its dominant view over the Dordogne valley.
